Safe Itinerary Guide and Experience Singapore! Compendium (old)

27-Jan-2022

As Singapore moves towards COVID-19 resilience and progressively reopens its borders to more visitors, it is critical to instil confidence and assure potential visitors that Singapore is ready to welcome them with new and innovative experiences that take their safety into consideration.

The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) has developed the Safe Itinerary Guide to guide tourism stakeholders in responding to new consumer priorities for travel amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. It contains strategies to understand target audiences and personalise itineraries, a guide to design the visitor experience, new capabilities that stakeholders can develop as well as practical information such as responding to emergencies.

To complement the Safe Itinerary Guide, the Association of Singapore Attractions (ASA), National Association of Travel Agents Singapore (NATAS), Singapore Association of Conference and Exhibition Organisers and Suppliers (SACEOS), Singapore Hotel Association (SHA) and Society of Tourist Guides Singapore (STGS) have also worked with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) to curate a compendium of unique experiences for travel intermediaries to tap on when designing itineraries for travel in a COVID-19 endemic world.

In the compendium, you will find information on a variety of new and innovative experiences contributed by various partners across the sector. You will also find information on providers of healthcare services which are important enablers for smooth travel, such as information on PCR tests and telemedicine consultation services.

Both initiatives are part of efforts by the Emerging Stronger Taskforce Alliance for Action in Enabling Safe and Innovative Visitor Experiences (EST-AfA) to support the industry in tackling challenges posed by COVID-19 and to emerge from the crisis stronger.

We hope all industry partners will find these resources useful as you work to welcome visitors again amidst this new norm.
