Your use of this site and all information, resources and services provided via this site or is governed by these Terms of Use as well as the provisions of the General Terms and Conditions on the Use of the Singapore Tourism Board's ("STB") Web Sites and Privacy Policy which are expressly incorporated in these Terms in so far as they are not inconsistent with these Terms. In particular, you agree to be bound by the disclaimers and exclusions of liability contained therein.

Online Communication

• In transmitting any information to STB via this site, using any forms downloaded from this site or sending an e-mail to STB, you consent to receive communications from STB electronically. STB will communicate with you by e-mail to the email address that you have provided to STB or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that STB provides to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
• No online application or other information transmitted through this site or application form sent by email to STB shall be accepted as complete or considered duly made unless the application complies in all other respects to the requirements of the Travel Agents Act (Cap 334) or such other relevant law as amended or substituted from time to time.
• STB is not responsible for any failure or delay in the transmission of your email or other information transmitted online via this site arising out of malfunctions in your computer system, software or any Internet access service provider.

Security

• You are required to obtain from STB or National Computer Systems Pte Ltd or such other authorized agent of STB (each of which shall be known as "STB's authorized agent") a user name and password (your "account") to enter the password protected areas of this site. You are solely responsible in all respects for ensuring the proper use of and maintaining the confidentiality of your account and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account. In addition, you agree to abide by all terms and conditions of use prescribed by STB's authorized agent in relation to your account.
• You shall not share your account with or transfer it to any third party and you shall bear sole responsibility for notifying STB and its authorized agent of any unauthorized use of the same or any other breach of security regarding the use of this site. In such an event, your sole remedy is to change your password immediately. You agree that neither STB nor its authorized agent will be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this Clause 2.
• STB reserves the right to terminate your account or refuse you access to this site for any reason and without prior notice.
• Neither STB nor its authorized agent makes any warranty, whether express or implied, that the account furnished to you under these Terms will be error free or will perform in an uninterrupted manner. To the greatest extent allowed by law, STB and its authorized agent disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose with respect to your account and your use thereof. Any losses incurred or sustained by you in connection with or arising out of the use of the furnishing, performance or use of your account shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any such losses in whole or in part be borne by STB or its authorized agent.

Use of online payment services

• STB uses third party services (the "Third Party Services") to secure and protect your credit card information and assist your payment of any fees, charges, fines or dues payable to STB under the law. Consequently, STB makes no warranty, whether express or implied, that the Third Party Services will be error free or will perform in an uninterrupted manner. To the greatest extent allowed by law, STB disclaims all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose with respect to such services and your use thereof. Any losses incurred or sustained by you in connection with or arising out of the use of such services or the transmission your credit card information shall be borne solely and exclusively by you and in no event shall any such losses in whole or in part be borne by STB.
• The Third Party Services are provided for your convenience and you agree that you will not use such services in an unlawful or fraudulent manner. In particular, you will not make any payment through such services using a credit card or payment instrument other than your own or without the prior consent of the lawful holder thereof. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless STB against all loss, damage, claims and actions arising out of or in connection with your use of such services in the manner described in this Clause 3.2.
• Without prejudice to the above, STB is not responsible for any malfunction in your computer system, software or any Internet access service provider that may affect the accuracy or timeliness of the transmission of your payment instructions. STB is also not responsible should you provide incorrect credit card information or if your payment instructions are not given sufficiently in advance to the Third Party Services to allow for timely payment of fees, charges, fines or dues to STB or if your payment instructions cannot be carried out for any reason beyond the control of STB.
• STB will not entertain any requests for refund of fees, charges, fines or dues paid to STB via the Third Party Services, except in cases of excess payment. STB will refund such sums paid in excess but is not obliged to make any payment of interest or any compensation to you in respect thereof.
